Message-ID: <20090306095302.31152.qmail@mall-net.com> Is time an illusion? Some argue that time is quantized much as energy in atoms is. Others... question whether time itself is real. We tend to thing that cause precedes effect. Our entire industry of science is based upon this little convenience. http://www.newscientist.com/article/mg19726391.500-is-time-an-illusion.html?full=true http://www.newscientist.com/article/ mg19726391.500-is-time-an-illusion.html?full=true This brings us back to the question of whether our experiences in this universe are real, or just the projections of a hologram occuring at the edge of the universe. (Of course, that would cast question as to whether the universe was real, so we get caught in a definition loop.) http://www.newscientist.com/article/mg20126911.300-our-world-may-be-a-giant-hologram.html http://www.newscientist.com/article/ mg20126911.300-our-world-may-be-a-giant-hologram.html What do you think? Great minds want to know! So do some of the lesser, more confused minds. --javilk at mall-net.com---------------------------------- Life is to be LIVED regardless of what is out there. Message-ID: <20090310200043.65181.qmail@mall-net.com> Some genius madman (or mad madam) has invented a coffee printer, a hand powered printer using coffee as ink. http://www.newscientist.com/gallery/dn16723-greener-gadgets/6 Other green gadgets are linked to the page. I like the power pig piggy bank. Put coins in and it turns on the electricity to a child's toy. This would teach the kid to think outside the box -- unplug the pig and plug the toy directly into the wall. Some people are just naturally stupid; the power pig is a great way of identifying the parents and children who are. --javilk at mall-net.com---------------------------------- Life is to be LIVED regardless of what is out there.
